Content Marketing Associate (Remote)

The Content Marketing Associate will be responsible for making sure that we rapidly grow our community by identifying fresh ideas and forward-thinking strategies that will be used in gathering sign-ups on all social media platforms.


  • Brainstorm traditional and creative ideas on how to grow our community across social media platforms and newsletter subscriptions.

  • Grow and expand company social media presence into new social media platforms

  • Increase engagement and brand awareness across existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram

  • Promote community events using social media channels

  • Create and implement social media marketing plans and editorial calendar

  • Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight into traffic, demographics, and effectiveness of marketing strategies

  • Analyze and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual ad spend. You will be responsible for a massive part of what grows our business. Understanding the data and acting on it is essential

  • Exchange ideas/data/feedback with other departments in order to present results

  • Prioritize growth across all digital platforms

  • Scale and automate the growth processes

  • Create content to grow Facebook, Twitter and Newsletter channels

  • Develop a holistic media strategy that drives the business forward efficiently and at scale

  • Develop social media campaigns with scope and KPIs that set each program up for success

  • Work collaboratively with the marketing department to develop and execute plans according to business objectives, with relevant creative, messaging, placements, targets, etc.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is data-driven and a data-geek with a clear understanding of data, analytics, metrics, and statistics

  • Has an understanding of social media metrics, the ability to interpret the results and take action to increase the effectiveness of social media campaigns

  • Has a deep understanding, and more importantly a passion for social media and all the rapid changes

  • Has Graphic design and photo/video editing skills. You do not need to be a Photoshop master (yet), but must at least know Canva or be able to create graphics for thumbnails in another software

  • Has a passion for creativity, social media, marketing, and engaging people

  • Is willing to learn

  • Has a startup mindset

  • Has good knowledge of Google Analytics, FB Ads, A/B Testing and Data Analytics  

  • Has editing and copy-writing skills 

  • Has good knowledge of both inbound and outbound marketing 

  • Is performance and result-oriented 

  • Is curious and creative 

  • Is relentless in the pursuit of growth


  • Full-time position

Hours of work:

  • 50 hours per week, the usual working hours are from 9:00am - 6:00pm WAT.
  • There will be a requirement from time to time to start work earlier or finish later as the role
