Video Content Creator

The Video Content Creator will be responsible for creating and managing eye-catching data-driven video content for SLA’s platforms as well as our sponsors/brand partners.You will be required to create, shoot, edit and publish video concepts. You must be able to wear other hats, including but not limited to data analysis and writing.

Responsibilities:

  • Come up with creative short video concepts and series in line with SLAs content mandate (i.e. must have some connection to women’s career and business)
  • Create and publish at least 3-6 videos per week to drive engagement, growth and conversions on SLA social media platforms.
  • Analyze users’ feedback and video performance data to improve content ideas
  • Work with different teams to create video content for brand partners and internal use.
  • Organize and manage video teams for SLA events
  • Design, transport, set up, and operate production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and in -house productions.
  • Edit video segments on a variety of digital formats.
  • Manage the SLA video library metadata and video deliveries to our partners
  • Complete trouble and preventive maintenance reports on video and audio production equipment; assists in repair and upkeep of studio and production sets and properties.
  • Maintain equipment inventory and external event and in house production schedules.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Great sense of humour
  • Ability to work independently and under close direction
  • Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and entire CC suite
  • Ability to come up with creative ideas for video content
  • Experience with smartphones and  traditional videography techniques
  • Extremely knowledgeable about at least one social platform such as: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter.
  • Meticulous, technical, organized with an ability to manage their time efficiently
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to capture snippets of film and be able to edit it into a cohesive story
  • Energy and determination to make a lasting impression using video content
  • Technical acumen to be able to operate, configure, set up, and maintain video, audio, lighting, or other production equipment
  • Clear understanding of post-production techniques
  • Passion—you have to be all about getting the best shot

Commitment:

 

  • Full time position


Hours of work:


  • 50 hours per week, usual working hours are from 9:00am - 6:00pm WAT.
  • There will be a requirement from time to time to start work earlier or finish later as the role
    dictates.
